2nd CCI–MNLUCS National Antitrust Moot Court Competition 2026
The Moot Court Association (MCA) and the Centre for Competition Law and Policy (CCLP) of Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (MNLU-CS), in association with the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and Phoenix Legal, are organizing the 2nd CCI–MNLUCS National Antitrust Moot Court Competition 2026.
The competition aims to promote legal research, advocacy, and academic discussion in the evolving field of Competition (Antitrust) Law. It provides law students with an opportunity to engage with contemporary antitrust issues while developing their research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills.
Competition Format
The competition will be conducted in a hybrid format:
- Online Preliminary Rounds: 12 September 2026
- Online Quarter-Finals: 13 September 2026
- Offline Semi-Finals & Final: 27 September 2026 at the MNLU-CS campus, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
All participating teams will first undergo a Memorial Evaluation Round, after which the top 32 teams will qualify for the oral rounds.
Eligibility
- Open to students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Maximum two teams per institution.
Team Composition
- Each team may consist of 2 or 3 members:
- Two Speakers
- One Researcher (optional)
- Teams with only two members will not be eligible for the Researcher’s Test.
Registration Fee
Stage I
- ₹4,500 per team (covers Memorial Evaluation and Virtual Rounds)
Stage II
- ₹5,500 per qualifying team for the Offline Semi-Finals and Finals (includes food and accommodation).

- Hard Copy Memorial Submission: 25 September 2026
- Semi-Finals, Finals & Valedictory Ceremony: 27 September 2026
